I was very happy about this pastel paper. However when I opened the box it was lying flat on the box bottom and is now folded over the entire top glued edge of the lining. The creases are quite noticeable and run through the entire pillow. The cover has detached from the cover. The creases go well and down 8 inches from the top of the paper so I have to trim them to get a flat work surface. Ideal for Pastel, Pencil, Color. I usually use acrylic paint (and even gesso) on paper and it doesn't bleed through. Oil pastels look amazing on this textured paper. If you use paint on this paper it will curl when dry but just iron it and you'll be fine. , the rest of the paper is blue. In the picture: I've used acrylics, gesso, oil pastels and even sewn onto paper. It's drawn on less than a quarter of the paper, so I didn't use too much liquid, but the paper retained all of the texture.

I'm by no means an artist but I like quality products and was interested in trying pastels as I like home crafting. So I bought a Faber Castell pastel, UART 600 sandpaper and this paper.
