Ordered, arrived very damaged. Sent back, reordered and again damaged. Not as bad as the first time, but who needs a new damaged sketchbook? They should be shipped in a box, not bubble wrap👍 Aside from a simple shipping error, this is a great drawing pad😊

This paper is ideal for watercolor pencils. I used a water brush to blend the colors. Micron grips work well, don't leak off the back. The Prismacolor pens work great and the colorless shading pen is very easy to use. It is thick and very smooth paper. The handles wear out less because they are smooth. I would buy this again. You can use both sides of the paper.

This sketchbook is very durable. I've always had issues with other bindings kinking or folding the sides. It doesn't have any of those issues: the binding is solid, and the front and back are thick card stock that protects your pages and gives you a nice, firm surface to press down on. This product is highly recommended!

Wow what a great drawing pad. I was so impressed with the quality of the book and the sheets. Heavyweight, acid-free and suitable for many mediums including watercolor paints. Really great value. Sold much more expensive in art shops. It is from a professional artist that I will definitely buy again and again. I highly recommend this sketchbook for students and beginners of all ages. The first thing I liked was the cover. If you've ever had fragile art book covers, then you know that the backing wears out quickly, which can cause the album to bend as you paint. The cover of Visual Journal is printed on a sheet of paper that can be torn off to reveal two sturdy covers (front and back). You can't bend down here! The coils of wire are strong and haven't bent yet - even after putting them in my backpack.
