It wasn't easy to install. I followed the instructions and ended up tearing the button's rubber cover. After installation, my polisher worked again. Much better than buying a new flashlight.

unsuitable! I bought it for an old Stinger XT with a push button switch on the bottom. My old Stinger switch module had the same side button, but for some reason that button is pressed after being inserted into the body tube and won't turn off. It is unusable even though the product description says it works. Very disappointed!

I had a PolyStinger that was having trouble loading. The light would work great but when I plugged in the charger it sometimes charged and sometimes it didn't. The problem kept getting worse, so I replaced the switch module. The exchange was quite easy and took about 5 minutes. Now the light works and charges like new. Streamlights come with a lifetime warranty, but there's no service center nearby, so I just replaced the switch myself.

This is a replacement switch for the Streamlight Stinger. This is a smaller lantern, about 8 inches. The switch works fine. Streamlight makes excellent and reliable products.
