The quality decreases

We used to love the rite of passage. They outlived several boys who played with them on the street every day. The last pair we bought fell apart within a few months. The velcro on this pair does not close. The fingers separate from the rubber. Disappointed with these.

Pros
  • The wide size for toddlers fits different foot shapes and sizes.
Cons
  • Durability issues after prolonged use

Great shoes! to my rating.

My 7 year old son has wide feet with high arches. Finding shoes that fit him is almost impossible. I ordered them a half size up and they fit him perfectly. He might actually hit her with his foot!

Pros
  • Designed specifically for boys, it offers a comfortable and supportive fit for active play.
Cons
  • Heavy shoes for toddlers.

Poor quality from Stride Rite

Very disappointed with this pair of shoes as the sole started to separate from the upper after about 2 months. This is not the quality I expected from the Stride Rite.

Pros
  • A quality, durable play shoe that should stand up to my child's constant use for some time. Fit perfectly and look sharp too.
Cons
  • Despite listing not in BIG KID sizes. I got a toddler 5 for my 10 year old. Useless. Returned.

Terrible shoes - my new review

Comfort was ok. The durability was terrible. The shoes were delivered on May 5, 2022 and on July 27, 2022 the soles started to fall off. I was hoping these shoes would last more than 3 months... They weren't worn every day either. He has a pair of sandals that he also wears for several days. Can NOT recommend Stride Rite and will NOT buy again.

Pros
  • Made from non-toxic materials, making it a safe choice for children.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean

Be careful with the size.

I ordered shoes that said "7.5 Big Kid" and they sent me 7.5 toddler shoes. I'm sure the shoes are fine but they're useless to me and now I don't have a Christmas present that I needed.

Pros
  • Reinforced stitching and durable construction for increased durability and wear resistance.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all occasions

The kid liked her very much, he wanted the same style twice

The shoes did not wear out easily and were very durable. This is the second pair of this type for our son and he loves them so much that when he outgrows his old ones he will want a different size. Should be fun and comfortable enough for our kid to enjoy. Good shoes!

Pros
  • Stylish and versatile, navy blue is easy to pair with a variety of outfits.
Cons
  • Can be expensive for children's shoes

Really nice looking tuff shoes

Just arrived today although my grandson won't get them for his birthday until May. I only opened them up to see how they look and have had no problems with them. I bought it a size larger so it would have enough room for summer and school. I was very surprised by her appearance. They have a really great material and a really good sole. I buy shoes at Walmart because they wear out so quickly I ordered them here. I think these will last a long time. These are really nice shoes.

Pros
  • sneakers
Cons
  • High price

Strap does not stay closed after 1 1/2 months

I bought a pair of these shoes for my 4 and 6 year old grandchildren. This is her third pair of M2P shoes, which have been great shoes so far. In less than 2 months the velcro no longer holds the shoe strap of a 4 year old closed. So annoying! Those are Stride Rite shoes! I pay more for Stride Rite shoes for quality, craftsmanship and design for a growing child's foot. This time I ordered a pair of Stride Rite 360s. Hopefully they have the Stride Rite quality we're looking for. A 6 year old…

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Some small items

Broke Quickly

I always paid extra for the Stride Rite because I thought it was excellent quality. The tread or bottom of the shoe immediately began to come loose. It was like my son wearing flip flops as the black bottom of the shoe slowly began to separate from the sole. It was dangerous for our son to walk in it. We are used to the normal wear and tear of children's shoes but this was clearly a defective product. I had to pay extra to take the shoes to the shoemaker and it looks like he can't fix them…

Pros
  • Girl
Cons
  • Can't remember
