Continuous Strip Blasting Sandblasting Equipment Review

When I bought this I was wondering how strong it really is and how it really removes rust. Received it today and tested it and it worked fine but I had to turn the valve off for it to actually work and be fully effective with the item it really didn't want to spit out 100% of the time used. I ran through blank media and tried 3 different media types. It will remove light and medium rust, but it will not remove very, very heavy rust. This is ideal for small to medium jobs. I've only recently started making horseshoes. The new shoes are covered with a protective coating (the old shoes are covered in rust), so I looked for an inexpensive sandblaster to do the job: remove the coating. So, this just popped up (really fast shipping) and I wanted to try it, but I didn't have any media, so I ran to the local beach and picked up some sand. I love this sandblaster! I will most likely be using this as a gravity feed as the vast majority of my projects will be small DIY jobs, but the great part is that if I'm doing body work or large parts that need more I can use siphon feeds too! Having that kind of versatility in one package is really what people like me need. I have limited space in my garage workshop and can't afford to have multiple tools that perform a similar function.
