Complete nonsense! One of my doors won't open and close so I bought this to keep the door closed during the day. but these don't work. Even if I assemble them everything is free and the door still opens. I had to put a rug under it then it seems to work. I'm not a fan and honestly I want my money back

My mother in law lives in an apartment building and for some reason the doors are SUPER heavy with automatic closing. She could never keep the door open wide enough to bring groceries etc inside and she needed a real doorstop. After buying and returning a few, this finally helps on hardwood floors too. highly recommended

If you use it on a tile or wooden floor they are fine. They will close the door. They are advertised as working on carpets. They will keep the door open on the carpet but I was looking for something to keep my bedroom door securely closed at night. It doesn't work for that. I was so disappointed. I'm still looking for a secure way to lock my bedroom door at night.

Nice, durable product and strong enough for a heavy spring swing door. Just got it so no long term performance history yet but it will outperform any rubber doorstop. Now it works perfectly, and the rubber stop usually dies off in the first day of use. Would have been 5 stars but the chrome trim is a little thin on the thin wedge edge and back bottom but what the heck is a doorstop.
