I mean these are just oil filters and gaskets best for my 2017 Subaru Legacy Sport. But they arrived VERY quickly, a pleasant surprise. good price too.

These were Subaru factory parts that matched perfectly. I'll be using them while the Outback is 'new' and probably going to the aftermarket when it's older.

After studying quality comparisons of different brands I realized that for a dollar I could buy a genuine Subaru filter compared to lower quality "brands".

We have 2 Subaru - Outback and Forester that use the same filter. The filter is conveniently located in the engine compartment near the oil fill point. Changing the oil is very easy and a lot cheaper than going to the dealer or Jiffy Lube.

I love factory oil filters and couldn't find them at local auto parts stores. The filters arrived well packaged and with new drain plug expansion rings. Labeled "Engine" which should avoid possible confusion for newcomers to mechanics.

I gave this review five stars not because the filters are great but because they are good value for money It's a shame they hired Fram to make these filters for them but they will still work and do their job just not for too long for no more than 6000 oil change miles but they were good value for money

I don't normally use Fram filters on my cars and these filters are said to be made by Fram. Since I plan on frequent oil changes in my new 2018 Legacy, I will be running these filters until they run out and then changing the oil filter with extended life and less frequent oil and filter changes. Every 3-4k miles feels like a waste of synthetic oil guaranteed to last 20k miles. As long as you change your oil and filter every 3-4000 miles these filters should be great.
