I have R2 ball joints on my 1965 300L and the only thing that helped me the most was holding the ratchet and socket on the ball joint in a C.- Clamp and/or expandable vise handle. They are very tight and without them the nest pops out.

Used to remove the upper ball joints on my '75 Cordoba and worked great. My only complaint relates to the warranty. Anyone who works on cars knows that you have to use a punch to remove a ball joint. Using Impact on this outlet will not void your warranty.

If you have an old Mopar this is the ball joint puller you need. Don't take the 2+ inch because it's too big. I'm still surprised at how expensive they are considering how little you can use them.
