Good socket for hand tools

Robust tool. Very healthy and strong. Unfortunately I didn't really need it but I didn't send it back because it was a quality tool.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Perfect fit for hitch ball

I bought this to fit a 2" ball (1" shank diameter) to my receiver and it worked great with my air impact wrench. Did the installation quickly.

Great head fits Triple Square Drive

Used with my chopper bar and also with 1/2 impact drill. The thing is holding up great. Durable and good workmanship. I've never heard of Sunex, but I'm very happy with this socket. Can explore other items they offer.

Worked great with water heater

This worked great to remove the heating element for my electric water heater. Much better than the cheap punching tool from the hardware store. And a lot cheaper than paying a plumber to do it.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Protection

Works well with custom power heads

I ordered this for use with my Milwaukee impact wrench. I've been working on installing hardware for several days in a row and haven't had any problems. I was so happy I bought a second one for my business.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Disappears

Quality impact socket

I bought this to remove torque arm bolts on a 25,000 lb trailer. I first tried a 24"3/4" breaker with a 4 foot cheat pipe and made absolutely no progress. I put this head on a 1/2" impact wrench and took off all 4 in no time. What a life saver!

Pros
  • Design drive side of fastener instead of corner
Cons
  • Crumpled

Purchased to remove heater element

Purchased to remove a rusty heater element that won't move with the general purpose pole and tube tool available at the hardware store. Socket is expensive but would save me time, money and effort if I bought it the first time. Another life lesson :)

Pros
  • Radius Corner Design
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Worked.: Hand tool

I spent half an hour removing the hitch ball from my RV and ended up breaking a large, heavy duty 1-1/2 wrench . Fifteen seconds with this nut on my Milwaukee M18 impact wrench and the ball was removed without damaging the nut. Looks very solid and the design seems to work on the sides of the nut rather than the tips. It's worth the money just for my time.

Pros
  • Provides extra strength
Cons
  • Available in black only
