Great set. Very impressed with the quality of the sockets and casing. If you are replacing axles or wheel bearings and the 12-point axle nuts are affected, look no further. I don't know how anyone can justify buying a tool or any other manufacturer when you can get the quality of this set at this price point. I became a Sunex fan after buying some of these sets!

Excellent fit and finish, consistently high quality. The case is also good for the blown type. I love Sunex outlets because they are very inexpensive and work the same as anything Snap-On or Matco does. I also have a full 1/2 drive kit from Sunex and love them so much I will continue to buy all sockets from them in the future.

My wife's Corolla had 12 point axle nuts. First time I saw the use of 12 point nuts. I thought I had all the necessary tools after successfully working with German cars. Well, that was my newest addition. Lately I prefer the Sunex brand. They make very good tool kits specifically for impact wrenches. The axle nut came off like butter and the bushing looks good. Recommend this to anyone who wants to take off those weird axle nuts or other big 12 point stuff.

This set is perfect for these axle nuts. , 36, 38, 39. Quality seems good, they are 12 point not 6 point so they fit all types of nuts. I thought the case was sturdy for a blow molded plastic case, the latches snap into place fairly easily and securely. The COO of the kit I ordered is Taiwan. The kit costs $79.99, which is $10 per connector, which is a lot cheaper than buying them individually.

The finish is awful, like nails on a board. It has this rough black finish which I'm sure is great when smoothed over after use ie. when they start to turn into that nice worn grey, but straight out of the box I can't touch them unless I put on gloves, even after oiling them a few times. You may need to toss them in a scotchbrite pad or something to pat the finish off a bit. This is obviously a very subjective thing and so far they are working well.
