My 13/16 " hand tool is missing

It would be nice to have 13/16" in this set. I ended up with two 3/4" instead. Overall, they don't seem like bad wrenches. I'm just not sure if they have quality control. This seems to be a fairly common problem. 2 stars because it's useless to me is if it's not complete. I'm currently awaiting a response from Sunex customer service. I asked them to replace the missing key instead of returning everything. We'll see how it goes and I'll try to update .

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some little things

Best budget brand in wrench sets

I've been a heavy truck and equipment mechanic for 10 years. At that time I used almost all tool brands and this brand, Sunex, is the best hand tool in terms of value for money. My snapon and matco wrenches are better (but honestly not by much, certainly not $500 better), but a snapon set comparable to this one cost me about $600 (if I remember correctly). Whether you're looking for a good set of keys for home use or you're a new pro, this brand is for you.

Terrible craftsmanship!

The keys are an excellent size and finish. I bought short wrenches in SAE and metric. Two reels take up quite a bit of space in a tool case or tool chest. The storage sheet is good if you hang it on the wall. When folded it is bulky. Each roll is too thick - about 3 inches in diameter and 6 inches long - because all the keys are in the same plane. In use, it may be more convenient to make a roller with two rows of grooves. I didn't discount this because the case is take it or leave it, the…

It was ok, but I expected more from Sunex.

It was ok but I expected more from Sunex. I actually thought I got "fakes" at first because I ordered both metric and SAE, but they looked different. Both the buttons themselves and the roller were different. The logos didn't even match. Obviously they must have outsourced production to two different companies. Both designs looked "good," but the perforations on the ends of the box were slightly off-center. I went back and bought a Tecton. I have a few Sunex and overall they're really good…

Mist keys are good for hand tools

not as strong as I had hoped My wife and I immediately played swords with the two largest and after a few clashes the swords had a tiny dent and they seem light. 1-1/4 and the next size smaller. If I could buy again I wouldn't get the fully polished wrenches, looked at other wrenches with sunex protruding plates in the matco truck, they seem to be harder, they also sell them here 9714, they were a bit heavier too, but wrenches with a smooth finish should be a little less heavy than a raised…
