Great jack for low cars! It's quite heavy and very well made. It even rolls easily on the garage floor. The soft grip also allows for slow and careful lowering. Having used a standard jack on all of my automotive projects for the past few years, I wish I had one sooner!

It's steel, so it's heavy. And hard work. The low profile is good so I can put the special BMW jack on it. The jack was prepared and ready to use (out of the box) in two minutes. Very smooth up and down movement. I had to ship it overnight but this jack could ship overnight and I am very happy with it.

If possible I would recommend spending a few bucks more on an Arcan jack, you won't be disappointed. A buddy of mine has an aluminum version of this jack which is great if you ever need to carry it around or haul it in the back of a truck and haul it off site. I can get by with the steel version because it will just stay in my garage. In any case, these are good books at a reasonable price.

Two different cars fell off the jack before I could add the stands. The trophy is the biggest problem. It's tiny, without a good sidewall to keep the mug from sliding around the frame or anywhere else you'll lift it. The worst thing is that leftover oil on your car will slide off this jack. I had an old jack that I've used for 15 years and not a single car has fallen off it. DO NOT USE WITHOUT STAND!

Today was my very first day of using this jack. In other words, it broke. Thank goodness it wasn't a catastrophic failure, but a part connecting the hand pump to the elevator needs to be disconnected. My car got stuck in the air and I had to run for a new jack to get this one out. I have a small BMW coupe that weighs no more than the limits of this jack and I have only lifted one turn at a time to change wheels. Read all instructions before use. Avoid this at all costs.

Excellent jack for the money! I've used it a dozen times already. Easy oil change. Two small comments: The rubber pad is quite soft and wears out, but that's partly due to my wife's frame profile and doesn't really detract from functionality. A more important criticism is that loosening the load release valve is a bit difficult and needs to be done carefully as the stem tends to bind a bit. Have been using the Arcan 3.5 ton jack for several years now. I bought it from Costco in 2004 for $69. He died a few weeks ago so I bought an Arcan XL20 as a replacement.
