Description of 🥥 SunGrow Finch Coconut Fiber: 1.5 oz Loose Bedding Substrate for Nest Cages, Budgie Hummingbird Canary Parakeet Nesting Material

COCONUT FIBER FOR AVIANS --- This coconut fiber is a completely raw product. The thin fiber strands are completely edible for your pet. So, provide our nesting material that’ll attract avians to your garden as surely as you would with a feeder. See the birds turning into construction crews. One pack includes 1.5 oz of coconut fiber. GREAT FOR NEST BUILDING --- The SunGrow coconut fiber is great for nest building. Small birds such as finches, canary and budgies can use the fibers to build a cozy nest. Our coco fiber won’t retain water in the nest and will eventually deteriorate over time. They are similar to the fibers birds would find in the landscape. PERFECT FOR SMALL ANIMALS --- Coconut fibers are perfect not just for small birds but also for small furry house pets. Gerbil, hamsters, bunny rabbits and guinea pigs will love the feel of this product. COZY BEDDING FOR RABBITS --- The coconut fibers will also make great bedding for your small pets. Hamsters, mice, and gerbils will settle down for a good sleep in the bales of fiber. NO MESS, FREE OF DUST FIBER --- The coconut fiber makes a perfect alternative to standard bedding and nesting materials. Since it’s dust free, it doesn’t have many particles. This makes it easier to clean your pet’s cage.

Disgusting! - Nester

I bought this for my finches but when I opened the package it smelled really bad, I read some reviews that said it smelled fresh but it smelled rotten. Then I unraveled it and it was literally glued together with something. Maybe dirt? I would never put him in my enclosure even if I washed him. I didn't even want to touch him. If I could give negative stars I would.

Pros
  • DUST FREE, DUST FREE FIBER --- Coconut fiber is a great alternative to traditional bedding and nesting materials. Since it does not contain dust, there are not many particles in it. This makes cleaning your pet's cage easier.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Perfect for Vanda Orchid

I had to remove the pot from my 4-year-old Wanda and quickly settled on a cedar basket for the time being. I had to consider many mediums to replace the old bark mix. Nested coconut shells are ideal as Vandas like to be free from sun and air, but I didn't like the show of the plant's bare root system. Will definitely buy again when my other Wanda is ready to move in.

Pros
  • COZY RABBIT PILLOW --- Coconut fiber also makes a great bedding for your small pets. Hamsters, mice and gerbils snuggle up in fiber balls for a good night's sleep.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Before purchasing, please check the information for your information.

I recently bought this and it smelled musty and musty and had a few dirt particles in it. So I did a little research on fiber and this is what I found. "A distinct musty odor indicates damage to the moisture inside the bales." Nor can it be stored with a damaged bale present as it would damage the others. I would use this if it were fresh but I can't because of the smell and can make my birds sick which is very disappointing and a waste of money :(

Pros
  • SUITABLE FOR NEST BUILDING --- SunGrow coconut fiber is ideal for nest building. Small birds like finches, canaries and budgerigars can build a cozy nest out of fibers. Our coco coir doesn't hold water in the nest and will deteriorate over time. They are like fibers that birds find in the landscape.
Cons
  • Overall ok but...

Warning, this is not the specified weight!

I received a package but it is very small. He took a bundle of coconut fiber from a clear wrapper and placed it on a kitchen scale. (1 ounce is 28 grams, FYI.) This bundle I received weighed only 10 grams. For 1.5 ounces of this you should be getting 42 grams unwrapped. The plastic wrap weighed 5 grams. It was only 1/4 the weight they describe as sold in the ad. Be careful and know your weight. This seller bet that people don't know how to measure weight and you just take what you have as 1.5…

Pros
  • IDEAL FOR SMALL ANIMALS --- Coconut fiber is not only ideal for small birds, but also for small furry pets. Gerbils, hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs will love the feel of this product.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
