OK I think suitable for cycling

I've never had a basket like this so I don't know what to expect. But just for their merits I'm not very impressed because: 1.) It's my fault for not looking at the dimensions but they are a lot smaller than I was hoping for. They don't hold a full (old-fashioned) paper grocery bag when it's full of groceries. Sunlite Superior to Wald

I live on my boat in Los Angeles. I'm a 10 minute bike ride from several grocery stores and wanted to use my bike for as much shopping as possible. The bike ride is shorter (in time) than my car, parking is much easier, closer to shops and faster. Sometimes it takes longer to find a parking space than to go shopping. I mention my location because the weather didn't figure in my decision grid when choosing a rack for my bike. If I still lived in Seattle I would probably go for the rainproofโ€ฆ
