The first bag I bought contained mainly seeds. This package looks like flowers mixed with seeds. When I opened this bag, the bugs flew out. Small, mosquito-like. When I looked closely they were crawling all over the seed.

I feed this food to my mice and they love it! This is a great quality mix and my mice are healthy, happy and living long. The only negative is that I would like to find a larger size. I order about 6 a month and it would be a lot easier if they were in bulk.

My birds are picky and ate this food. However, there were a lot of small chopsticks in the food. Not what I would expect from parrot food at this price point. The inexpensive Hartz brand that I buy at WalMart for $5 is just as appealing to my birds, and I've never had sticks in that food.

My birds love this mix. They're picky at times (but so am I) so I was glad to find this when the other guy was hired by the Kaytee. This one seems even better to me. I have tried other expensive seeds but this one is spot on. Birds like that and feel comfortable. They rarely nibble on brightly colored pieces of "food", but I think it adds to their enjoyment. It doesn't look that boring.

I gave this product to my five mice to replace the malnourished, smelly food I used to feed. Although this food is marketed as bird seed, it actually contains all the nutrients mice need and is a complete diet! My mice thrive on it and appear much healthier with shiny coats and good energy. Would recommend to anyone who wants their mice to live long and healthy lives.
