Sunwayfoto Tripod Extension Section Extender Review

Not made of carbon fiber. It's clearly aluminum and weighs a little. As I wanted a carbon fiber tube for light weight I am very disappointed. I assumed the weight listed was for the entire package. The photo shows that there is an aluminum tube inside.

This was great as it allowed me to pack a shorter monopod in my backpack. The only problem, however, is that the twist lock can very easily accidentally come loose while you're holding it. In this case, a heavy camera can hit your hand. So be careful!
