Best cleaver I’ve found at this price point

Lots of things I like about this cleaver.Sufficient mass for cutting bone? Check.Full tang? Check.Cutting edge appropriate angle for a cleaver? Check.Hammer surface for pounding meat or crushing garlic? Check.Forged, not cast steel blade? Check.One negative: wood handle could be better blended with the full tang for a smooth handle surface. I’d be willing to pay a few bucks for that. Even better would be a micarta handle!

Poor quality, very disappointing

I was very excited to gift this to my husband for his birthday. When it arrived there was a lot of play/shake in the handle, poorly made. . I requested a return thinking I may have gotten a defective product and would try it again. The 2nd one arrived, this one has some play/shakiness and looseness but not nearly as bad as the last.

Worth the price in my review

Usually I don't like to comment on ebay. But want to write something for it. This small ax is fantastic! The weight is right suitable for women, not too heavy lift, but heavy enough to chop chicken with a clean cut. I have used it for like 2 weeks, by so far, the steel is still in great condition. With it, I'm able to chop the chicken into smaller pieces. The taste seems much better!

The best Knife: my feedback

I love this knife, very sharp, I broke two chopping boards with it already. I have used it few times to cut the beef bones and it did its job perfectly.! You just need to be careful when you use it.

Its a keeper good for me

Love the weight (it's heavy!) and the finishing. Wanted something heavy and with quality. I am happy with this product. would recommend if you would something heavy.

Good for the money - my new review

I wish they did a better job of matching the blade grind to the handle (the metal sticks out, which is kind of annoying), but for the money, it's a good cleaver.

Flea Market Junk for my opinion

The product I received looked nothing like the one on the ebay website. Blade was a different shape, heavily pitted and the handle was very flimsy. I'd have had trouble selling it at a yard sale for $5 so definitely not worth the nearly $70 I paid. Returned mine for a refund and went with a different brand.

Great Cleaver - my new review

I purchased this cleaver, after breaking one of my good knives trying to break the rib bones of an elk. While I haven't used yet, the feel, heft, and balance is spot on. I will try it out and post another review.
