Not for makeup mirror visor

Since we live in Texas where air conditioning is used most of the year, I was planning to mount it on the visor. What I don't understand is that the driver and passenger visors are very thick due to the "illuminated" vanity mirrors. The clip for its attachment simply could not hold it securely, so it slipped off at the most inopportune moment. There was no way I would block the air conditioner vent by cutting it open there, so it went in the donation box.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No power

This one works fine!

This one works great! Advantages: 1. The glasses are attached with one hand!2. The visor clip is wide enough to accommodate thick sun visors like the ones on my truck (Chum's Glasshopper was too thin and didn't fit). Cons: 1. Made of cheap plastic construction and thin clamp.2. Putting glasses on the sun visor is a little distracting until you get used to it. Overall everything works as advertised and I can put on or take off my sunglasses with one hand.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Unlike any I've had

Once attached to the visor, these holders no longer "jam" on the goggles, you simply slide them under the plastic clip. Tried them for the first time today. My regular thin metal rimmed glasses fit easily and seemed to stay in place satisfactorily. I then tried on a pair of sunglasses with large plastic sides and they arrived but were difficult to put on. However, they held on. In general, the job is much easier than with a clip-in typeholder, but time will tell. If anything changes I will…

My husband mustn't lose her now!

My husband is notorious for tossing his sunglasses onto the center console where they are often located. disappear. After having to buy him another pair of sunglasses because we couldn't find the others, I decided to find a way to keep them safe. I didn't tell him I ordered or installed them. He found the glasses easy because he is tall and almost hit his head on them. He immediately took them off and used them, but it took him a while to figure out how to put them back on. He wears sunglasses…

A little fragile before installation

I liked the look but the clip detached from the unit when I tried to install it with one hand. I was able to replace the spring clip, after which I mounted it with two hands without any problems. Done as it should. The question for me is how long will the plastic clip last before it loosens enough to become unusable. This replaces a similar device that didn't have the well to fit the glasses and only lasted a little over a year. I hope this will reduce the stress on the plastic clip. If the…

Really works as advertised

Ordered a pair of eyeglass holders, one for each car, and attached them to the sun visors. Both cars have a small drawer for sunglasses, but of course my wife took over both as soon as we bought the cars. I got tired of searching the glove box for sunglasses and looking for a place to put my regular glasses (they usually ended up in the cup holder). This solves the problem. Just exchange them. Remove the sunglasses and replace them with regular glasses in the holder. They hold the glasses…

It's not good if you live in a very HOT place (in a car); this. Texas Heat.

I have ordered 4 of these units. After using them in my wife's and I's cars for the whole of last summer, I have noticed that the arms of my glasses are DEFORMED due to the heat. Since the temples hold the glasses very tightly to the holder, the constant heat in the car has caused my acrylic temples to warp a bit. I did notice that my glasses "felt" crooked for the first month, but after a few months they became noticeably visually crooked. I had to take the sunglasses to an eyepiece shop and…

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Reliability

I wouldn't have bought this if I had known - this sunglass holder consists of five parts. plastic) 4.) Lever that lifts and secures your glasses (low quality plastic) 5.) Rubber pad There is no spring or hinge action - the lever is wedged between the two halves of the main body and flexes to open and close. Everything worked fine at first, but ten months later I'm leaving a bad review. My glasses start ringing loudly. I got it out of the car, disassembled it and figured out what was going on…
