I use these SPDT switches to control devices in my HO/HOn3 train circuit. Their compact size (much smaller than my father's) is perfect for this application.

I needed about 50 pieces to recreate part of the center of my model railway. Work well and provide a clean look. As always, avoid too much heat when soldering and test before final assembly. I would recommend.

These switches do the job, but during installation one of the threaded rods came loose and cut my thumb, the other occasionally jammed. I use them fairly regularly and so far none of them have let me down except for a light sticking.
