We LOVE our little faucet

We LOVE this kettle a lot, mostly for its unique character and because it fits well in our small log cabin, but it's definitely quite functional and appears to be made of quality material. . I can't vouch for the whistle because we never let our water get that hot when small children are around, but we've had many compliments even with it just sitting on our stove for decoration. You have to love anything that looks good and works great when you need it. Would definitely buy again OR buy as a…

Nice but too many flaws

Very nice teapot. However, it has several problems: 1. The whistle only blows sometimes, and when it blows, you can't hear it when you are in another room.2. We have a gas stove. So that it doesn't get hot forever, we put it on a big, big flame. The red part of the chin melts and spreads over my plate.3. When pouring, the water spreads over the counter. I've only had one for a year but have already had to buy another kettle due to the issues I've listed. I do not recommend this.

Dear, dear, dear! - kitchen and dining room

I like to heat water for tea in this kettle. It's so cute and humorous! It brings a touch of humor to my kitchen. It's lined with durable enamel for easy cleaning. The lid is not hollowed out, but covered with a stainless steel overlay. The outside is easy to clean with soap and warm water. I leave mine on the stove so the fat gets on it sometimes. The downside of this kettle is that the whistle isn't very loud so you'll have to test it to know when the water is hot. I love it so I'm willing to

The kettle does not whistle

I expected that this kettle would please. It's the exact same shape and design as the one we've used and loved for years (which is finally starting to wear out on the underside and therefore needs to be replaced). Ok, the old one was white and red, and the new one is black and white, but everything else is the same. Except that the spout on this one doesn't quite fit the kettle properly. As a result, the kettle does not crow, no matter how vigorously the water boils. Now you can boil water in a

Pretty but not functional

I bought this as a bust with a gift certificate. I love chickens and they are so cute. I'll probably keep my old kettle because it's much easier to use. Difficult to open the top to pour water. The handle doesn't move from side to side, making it difficult to fill and clean. The tap head does not come off, which also makes cleaning difficult. "Whistle" is a two-tone horn that sounds like a train. When water boils, steam rushes around the head; It's easy to get burned trying to pull out the…
