I crochet a lot so I tried a lot of crocheting. From time to time I save up and buy a cheap hook. I'm always sorry! I need a hook that's comfortable when I'm grabbing it and doesn't slow me down when I'm trying to pick up speed. Susan Bates is the perfect hook for me. As a beginner knitter, I used to see these crochet hooks in the aisles of my big store and wanted to know what they were for. When researching Tunisian crochet, I decided to grab one to try—not knowing much about the thickness. Joanne is selling mine. The only size they had was 6mm, so I started with that.
