Received exactly what I ordered! Besides crochet. I use this hook for everything! Pulling clothes with laces and many other things. It's too convenient to leave them in your knitting supplies basket! Nobody makes quality crochet hooks and accessories like Susan Bates! After trying Susan Bates hooks I went out and bought a whole set of these and gave away all my boyi and other hooks as they are just inferior to Susan Bates.

Disappointing. I expected the aluminum hook to be almost slippery and the yarn to slip easily (cotton yarn). On the other hand, the hook had a good grip and the yarn didn't slip at all. I even waxed it thinking the grip was reduced but it's still more than I can work with. Another feature of this haiuk is that it doesn't have the Susan Bates-style hook I've been accustomed to for so many decades.
