Our little one loves his new scooter!

I always think about how long our child (and now toddler) will be using something before I buy one. I really like that it's a 4 in 1 scooter and bike. Our little one is 21 months old so we have him on 3 wheel scooter mode. It's big for its age, but when we put it in tricycle mode it's still not big enough, which is normal as it's recommended for kids aged 2-5. It will evolve into a bike mode in the next 3-6 months. We bought a Joovy baby helmet to wear for safety and luckily our little one…

Poor customer service

I bought this bike on June 13th for my 3 year old son. In September the bike was loose in the neck and getting more unstable with each passing day. All this from normal pavement driving. An obvious flaw, the wheel fell apart completely in September. I have requested and submitted a return form. A few weeks later they got back to me and I paid $10 for shipping. A few weeks later they said they wouldn't fix it until I paid. The? Does the bike clearly have a (VERY DANGEROUS) defect and do I have…

Great purchase decision!

I wasn't sure when ordering because there are too many options, slightly different in design and functionality. Glad I ordered this. It's super easy, took less than 5 minutes to set up, looks great and my 18 month old son absolutely loves it. The large front wheel is a very good solution for such a product. facilitate movement. Seat height (in trike mode) just right. Switching between bike and scooter mode is quick and easy. The handle is a bit difficult to turn but I think that's because it's…

Great Convertible Bike/Scooter for 2 Year Olds

Our 2 year old outgrew his walker (and went through 2 pairs of shoes because his feet were being dragged across the floor) but he didn't like the walker we had. So we need something in between. It's perfect for that! The seat/scooter is made of durable plastic, the wheels are plastic but still work well on the outside, the front fork is metal, the handles are rubber. PROS: Easy to assemble, it took us less than 10 minutes to assemble it. The SUPER easily switches from scooter mode to bike mode.

Cheap fun. Terrible customer service.

At first we wanted to like it. Our two year old loved it and rode it often while learning to ride. At least until the part where it pivots between the bike and scooter starts to loosen. At first it was a slight wobble, but now there's nothing unimportant about it. We're afraid it might just fail while driving! I reached out to Swagtron directly to ask about a possible fix for this, or at least to provide some steps to fix the issue. Instead, I got the obligatory "We're sorry you're having a…

THREE broken bikes in less than a year.

UPDATE: Almost exactly a year later, another bike broke down, THREE BROKEN BIKES in total. Like the other two bikes, it just broke down for no reason. One moment my kid was riding a bike and the next he was sitting on the ground because the spring broke. We never swap her bike for a scooter because we know it might upset her spirited spring. Terrible terrible terrible. Better to buy either a bike or a scooter because at least they work. I will never buy anything from this company again…
