My first review. Have been buying through Walmart for years. The cut out on the case where the male is inserted into the iPhone is not large enough to accommodate the male cable. Consequently the cable easily falls out. Therefore the positioning of the phone and cable is sensitive, not easily positioned and time consuming until the charge symbol appears on the phone. Works better than the higher priced Mophie. It does wear out on charge port before battery life, but just keep a spare on hand and you will be happy

It was good for a couple months, but inevitably once the return period ended the charging port became loose and doesn’t charge unless you prop the whole thing at a certain angle. Too bad, I liked it while it worked.

DO NOT BUY This case doesn’t function as it should the volume buttons don’t work and it will not lock your phone it also stops charging your phone before it gets to full capacity and doesn’t charge the case.

4/19/21 Update. My 3rd one broke yet again. The charging port is poorly designed and fails.This is the third one I’ve gotten I was able to replace the first two and customer service kindly replace this one but the problem is the charging port fails after about three months the customer service was great however they asked me to change my review essentially lie or delete my review which I’m not gonna do either so this product really isn’t that great

At first I thought this case was great except being a little heavy. Downfalls to this battery case is the long time it takes to fully charge. After about a week, 4 out of the 4 I bought won’t charge at all. Very disappointed.

This case is strong and sturdy and Protech‘s yeah iPhone I gave this case as a gift to my knees and the only thing she complained about is that it was kind of hard to take the case off and put it back on I normally use when you have to do that over and over again if you use it a lot so that was the only complaint and also I wish you came in more colors other than that it does what it’s intended to do charge the iPhone up and to provide an alternate power source

Great case but for some reason it has stopped charging. I just bought a second one for my wife too because I was so happy with it. I may have to return that as well. Update: the seller is making it right by sending me a replacement. Sometimes a product goes bad but it’s nice when a merchant stands behind it even beyond the return period. Thank you for the great customer service.

The lightning port is totally crap. It doesnt click and grab the cord, so without knowing the cord flops out. The charge suck and depleted quick than taking a poo. Pass on this profuct.

Best way to have a back up plan when you're stranded and need to charge it fully. Remember to charge your phone with the case on your phone otherwise it won't receive the juice to charge it later. Best case ever!

I changed my review of this product as it has stopped charging. It will not charge with any of my cords, both Apple and other, so therefor it is no longer useful as my phone is barely charging due to age.

Purchased this product and it quit working soon after receiving. Called company and they sent me another one. Same thing happened.

First of all, it is not as pictured. What I received is solid rose gold and much thicker than pictured. Then, it BROKE my charger the FIRST time I plugged it in, like snapped the part that goes into the port smooth off. Followed all instructions, came with a charge but it was gone FAST and seemed to actually suck battery from my phone. This is a nice product, but the connection to the plug in to charge, hardly works at all. Have to jiggle it around to get it to connect and then, although still, will just disconnect on it's own. When I remove the case, my phone charges just fine.Does anyone know how to improve this? I'd like to keep this case-but the charging issue is a challenge and may return.

This was great, for about 3 weeks. Then the charger port suddenly felt loose, sometimes the charger actually falls out of the phone. It won’t charge anymore, leaving the case useless. Within a couple of days the rose gold started chipping, leaving scratches all over the back of your phone case.

Had this less than a month and it already stopped working. I gave this to my aunt and it’s embarrassing. It just stopped working and won’t charge . Don’t waste your money! Plus it is thicker than it looks in the picture
