Works well for cycling

I bought this to try and replace the standard webbing on my helmet. The stick has a silly "feature" - a piece of lining is wrapped forward, away from the head, right in the middle of the forehead. It's supposed to soak up sweat and drip off my face, but most of the time it lands right on my nose. This seal could stick directly, no modification needed. And now the sweat is no longer dripping down my face. Haven't tried it in hot weather yet, but there are a few trails of 20-30 miles in 80+โ€ฆ

Eh, works but doesn't fit well

I would probably give those two stars for personal use but thought it might be a personal fit issue. Item wicks sweat as advertised without much sweat leakage in the mid-length. My biggest issue is the fit, I removed the front pads as recommended and even with the helmet dial fully open there was significant pressure on my forehead. Keep in mind that I usually have to make a lot of adjustments and I probably usually adjust the dial mid-cycle. I think I have to put on a helmet for it to work.

Pros
  • Helmet accessories
Cons
  • Cleanliness

I am an avid cyclist from South Carolina and deal with a lot of sweat dripping into my eyes and glasses. I've tried too many "high-tech" cloth wristbands; They all last about the same 45 minutes. Stop, take off your helmet, wring it out, then you have about 30 minutes before you have to do it again. It gets tiring when you drive 100 miles in about 5 hours. I switched to high-tech sweat-wicking skullcaps for $20 each. Just slightly different about an hour before soaking. Read more aboutโ€ฆ
