Preparing my 49 year old British sports car for a car show. It has many aluminum parts that need polishing. These pads with a bit of mother polish saved me hours of work.

These Roloc pillows are great. I used one with Maguire plastic cleaner and polish on my grinder to restore the headlight lens on my 20 year old truck. They look like new. The pillow is reusable.

I use these in my glass plate cleaner because my old wrists don't clean well. A small amount of hob cleaner and the job is done very quickly without any effort. Cool, easy.

I bought these to polish and burnish wheels on my motorcycle and they work great. They are NOT super soft but not what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they held up and how long a pad lasted.

These pads are very hard and dense. I bought them for polishing wooden bowls but they are useless. I was hoping for at least some softness. They don't move or shrink when you press them against a tree, they don't move when you squeeze them between your fingers. They can work well for metal but I wouldn't recommend it.

I've used them to polish scratches on the windshield and do some small jobs. They worked well once I got the hang of it. The drill walked away from me a little and I was surprised that the pads were still in good condition. Not sure how long they will last but I did a whole windshield and the first pad is still good. Keep it moving and buff it enough or so so it doesn't get hot. I wouldn't use them on paint unless you remove the paint.

I randomly tested about half a dozen pods with holders to make sure the reel screws onto the pod holder with ease and they screwed on very well, cleanly and correctly. These buffing pads did a great job with what I needed to buff to a mirror finish. I also use Blue Magic 400 Metal Polishing Cream for buffing and it works great too. Using a coin gauge made from a 1 1/2" x 6" 3/4" piece of plywood with a quarter coin slot drilled to a quarter gauge (I used a Forstner quarter coin bit , which fits almost snugly.)
