When I first used a spatula the neck was curved and I thought it was okay just bend it back. It happened again on my second use a few months later and after. Then the neck finally weakened and refused my last use, so about the fourth time. Result? The spatula bent, snapped the neck and dug underneath my pile of fried rice while cooking. But if you don't have this tool, you will find it very difficult to empty the wok. It has an edge that runs down the sides so you can carefully scoop lots of rice out of the wok. I use a cast iron wok, which is too cumbersome to lift with one hand and pull out its contents. This tool makes it very easy. I don't fry with it…
