Works as expected in cycling

Fits well on my old 10 speed tires 27" x 1+1/4. Material feels thick and strong, valving is decent, no complaints, have Ordered more so I can eat spares at work/in my baskets.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No power

Exploded within minutes.

I installed this hose and inflated it to the correct PSI. Then when I grabbed the wheel and tried to put it on the bike, the tube exploded. My right ear still hurts and my head still hurts. Thank god my hand was on the part of the wheel that exploded.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Requires Outlet

Less than 100 miles of pipe.

Less than 100 miles on this pipe and it already has a hole due to a manufacturing defect. The company did not properly attach the valve to the hose and it is starting to come loose. The rubber on these hoses is also very thin so I don't think they will last long even if done right.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad

Bleed Attention: Tires and hoses

Two different hoses, both burned out overnight. I checked the rim and tape ok, there are no sharp edges. Edit: Tried with two extra tubes. All four have the same problem. Small gaps opened up near the valve stem without even stopping at them. One pack exploded at 100psi overnight. The second set exploded at 80 psi overnight. Tires are rated at 105 psi. We will be 4 of them again.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some small things

Don't buy defective ones!

Defective tubes. The first covered less than 50 km. When it ran out, I was on a trip. Replaced the first. The second has a section that doesn't inflate and therefore can feel like a crack in the tire. Not a fun or safe ride to say the least. They say they want you to contact them with any problems but sending me 2 more faulty and dangerous tubes sounds stupid.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

CHEAP PIPES - BEWARE

2 tubes per pack. Installed a tube and it took about a week. I took it apart, patched it, installed it and as I walked away from the bike I heard the tube burst and the tire come off causing another hole about 1 inch away from the patch I had just installed. I installed another brand new camera and the same script, and one day, without even riding my bike, I walked away and heard the pipe burst. Eventually I took the tubes and rim to the bike shop thinking there might be something wrong with…

Wow, that's terrible quality.

This is a fairly new product. I didn't know when I bought them that they were disposable cameras. By the way, I didn't know such a thing existed! In the past, even the cheapest cameras I've installed on my friends and I's bikes have done their job and lasted almost indefinitely in uncovering accidental fatal punctures. However, these internal chambers are of such poor quality that both failed and exploded on the first run. No, the problem was not with the rim/tire they were fitted with as they…

  • Good thing

Two tubes failed in just a few hours

I installed a TAC 9 tube on a Trek Verve 2 bike and just a few hours after riding about a mile, I had a tear near the valve stem. The rim was fitted with new high-end Velox rim tape and I was surprised and disappointed that such a failure could occur. I attributed it to bad luck and hung up on the second phone. The same thing happened. The hose broke after just a few hours and a short ride. These failures were NOT due to punctures, but to a ruptured inner tube on the rim side. Inflation was at…
