We use this for our astronomy adventures. It is fantastic! Can see decently with it to see things in my case, on the scope, on the ground. Easy to keep track of.

Arrived quickly. The beam is stronger than I expected for a small flashlight (which is great). Definitely red. I hear that the red flashlight doesn't disturb the night-time bugs and other creatures, and it seems that is true. Very happy with my purchase.

For what it is I'm very pleased. I own the regular white light version too that I use for walking my kids to the bus stop. When headed into he woods this red light I could see in front of me just great. The brightness is alright for a little flashlight and for a pretty short distance. Maybe 15 feet.

This works well and comes with a sleeve to upgrade it to a lithium ion battery if desired. A much better constructed flashlight than I expected for the money!

This flashlight is so bright! We use it in the reptile room at night. We just point it up to the ceiling and it lights up the whole room without disturbing the reptiles. Great purchase

Man, this is a great astronomy tool. Threw an 18650 in it & it's almost too bright. Only thing I would change is have the switch do a high/low/off setting instead of on/off. Seems durable, feels solid. Best red flashlight I've had (had a bunch).

I opened the box and actually tried 9 NEW batteries and the flashlight still would would not turn on. I obviously am returning it.

Bought one, along with a green one, to strap to the front of my canoe to act as nav lights. They get some splashing, but never submerged. Green one worked, and continues to work (a month later) just fine. The red one started turning off and on and flickering the second time I used it. Tried changing the batteries, opening it up in case it had gotten some water inside (it hadn't), still kept flickering. Light is well built for the price. Zoom covers a wide range and stays in place without moving.Button is easily manipulated and works consistently.Light is actually brighter than needed for many of my uses, so in some cases it will cause more night blindness than a dimmer red light would.

I don't use this for hunting or anything of the sort. I just wanted a red flashlight that was bright that wouldn't break the bank. This flashlight is extremely bright I absolutely love it. I am a huge fan of the zoom feature on the flashlight. The led light shows up in perfect form when zoomed in all the way which I like. Very bright, I use it around the house on a nightly basis, and when camping. This is my (goto ) light. I would recommend this light to anyone that likes red light at night to protect your night vision.
