No longer works with shocks, struts and suspension

Was easy to install Only works for about 8 months Tailgate falls off shortly after opening crushing almost everything underneath

Cons

Easy replacement of shocks, struts and suspension

Great replacement for my wife's Buick Enclave. You need a slotted screwdriver or something similar. Pry off, remove and replace the clips. Made. Takes less than 10 minutes. Be careful with the heavy door.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Very good quality, a little stiffer than the last but works well

They are a little stiffer than the last but I expect they will last a while. Fits my 2011 Buick Enclave perfectly. You just need a flat screwdriver to remove the old one and install the new one, 100% recommended

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Update available

Worked great for 1 month

Bought these for a Buick Enclave after my rear opened and closed about 3/4. After watching YouTube videos, it was pretty easy to swap out the old ones and paste the new ones. The back door worked again, opened fully and stayed there. It was the end of May. It's now the end of June and the back door doesn't stay open anymore. Looks like I need another set of rear door pillars. I will not buy this again.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Annoying

Fixes overhead gate problem and saves $$$

My overhead gate only opened 3/4 of the way before it jammed and got stuck. I would manually slide it all the way to the stop. I noticed that the two struts (pistons) were weak, like a 10 year old car. I decided to replace both pistons before taking the SUV to the dealership to have the tailgate repaired. After replacing the pistons, the hatch began to open and close normally. BIG SMILE. Note. Lift gates are really heavy. So loosen it before removing the old pistons.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
