Since I live in the US and this dumb thing has European threads, I now have to use the fittings that came with the kit, making it more difficult. NPT - National Pipe Thread, (USA), 60 degree conePT - Pipe Thread (European), 55 degree cone. Why should I assume this is sold in the US?

Used for can crusher pneumatic cylinders. The fittings were the pipe size advertised, unlike the uxcell brand which I also purchased. Some have questioned the PT to NPT ratio on other sizes of this switch. It's hard to tell if the thread is PT (British) or NPT. However, I had no problem cutting the supplied fittings or even some well known Legris fittings with a known NPT size.
