A good cartridge gun is no small thing

For years [since 1981] I have cursed the manufacturers of all cartridge guns. I use them almost every day in construction. I've spent $10-15 on guns at big box stores that have broken or jammed at the worst possible moment - it's really miraculous how consistency can happen. Never again. These caulking guns are the bomb. I also have a big construction glue gun that we use for sub floors because those guns are so prone to breakage [in the middle of a big frame job where a broken gun means…

Like this gun in handheld power tool

gun I like. The longer length is very good and finally you don't have to deal with breaking the barrels on the gun like with most caulking guns. The poker is longer than most, which is very useful when you need a tight bead, and it's curved to stay in the groove and not dangling all over the place. One weird thing they haven't added to this gun is the cutter. They are handy and I usually use side cutters although I always carry a knife. Although this is not so important. The gun also squeaks…

Good, but not great - updated to original review

Gun was originally purchased in 2015 for $23. He has now been in the service for five years. I am a professional and use construction adhesive, silicone or various sealants in almost every job. That's the gun I use. I've done some maintenance and keep it pretty clean. However, I like the smooth ride and cast aluminum grip. It's a good car and I'm glad I bought it.
