Good locking wires

I am happy with these locking wires. They worked very well to block a long scarf. This made nice smooth edges of the scarf. However, I made a note because the ends of the wires were rough. I had to get some sandpaper and sit there for an hour smoothing out the ends so they wouldn't snag my fine cord. That is not right. When you buy a tip blocking product, it should come ready to use. • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Useful but rough ends need to be sanded first.

I wish I had had these locking wires the last time I locked my scarf. I know they will be helpful. The reason I gave this product 3 stars instead of 5 is because, as many other reviewers have said, there are burrs on the ends of these wires that result from being cut to length during the manufacturing process. As a result, I spent 45 minutes sanding down the burrs so the yarn doesn't get caught when I thread it through my knitwear. I then spent even more time (to ensure smooth threading)…
