Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

I bought a D7200 crop to replace the Nikkor 35 / 1.8 DX (by the way, I never sold it), the difference in quality is noticeable. Tamron has sharpness almost over the entire frame already open, while Nikon achieves it closer to f2.8. A stabilizer on a wide-angle fix is a rare thing, but not useless. Allows you to shoot at slower shutter speeds. Works well, especially considering that the small-pixel crop is extremely sensitive to the slightest movement. Assembly in general for five points! You

Pros
  • - high sharpness in the open - compact - the presence of a stabilizer - high-quality assembly
Cons
  • - slightly overpriced

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

An excellent fix, a worthycommpetitor to the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM A in terms of sharpness and image quality, yielding only slightly in aperture ratio. DxO has test results that fullycomnfirm the high performance of the Tamron 35mm F1.8 SP Di VC USD. My first samples can be seen here: Has pros: Sharp already from f / 1.8, excellent autofocus, the stabilizer really works out 2-3 stops of shutter speed, the assembly is at a high level. Has some cons: Of the shortcomings, one can only note the…

Good product for me, no problems at all.

The lens is fire. Sharp at once, since 1.8. And with a stabilizer, you can shoot with your hands. And yet, FR - 35mm - it's perfect. Suitable both as a portrait painter and for landscapes and a little for architecture. I doubted for a long time between 28 and 35, in the end I do not regret at all. Became my main lens. Has pros: Price Aperture sharpness Stabilizer Focal length without distortion Build quality Minimum photo distance 5 years warranty Has cons: Did not invent.)) Is it a brand…

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

The lens is really unique even with only optical stabilization. This was the main criterion because of which I took it. The image quality is top notch. We filmed both the wedding and many different stories, the clients were satisfied, and I appreciate it in action and every time I discover something new for myself. The design, although minimal, is made by the Tamrons, but the functionality of this is no worse than others. The hood immediately comes with the kit. And its thread is normal, it is…

Pros
  • Frames as needed. The price is acceptable.
Cons
  • not yet, if that 5 year warranty

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

An excellent wide-angle fix for a reasonable price. He does an excellent job with his task. There is slight vignetting on the sides of the image. All this is easily treated in the editors. And there are no other inaccuracies in the picture. The lens is sharp as hell. The depth of field of the image is simply amazing. And the color reproduction and contrast are also at a high level. The stabilizer and autofocus work great. Pleased with the build quality. High-quality materials and no backlash…

Pros
  • wide angle lens high depth of field high image quality 5 years warranty lens hood included light weight fast autofocus stabilization
Cons
  • No

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

after an hour test, it was decided to return this lens back, because they buy such lenses to shoot at apertures of 1,8 . even the Nikon 50mm f / 1.8G AF-S Nikkor, the price of which is 12-14 tons of, does not have such XA as a tamron When shooting indoors with soft light from the ceiling, XA is not particularly striking, the problems begin with sunlight. The problem is expressed precisely in contrasting transitions. I will attach screenshots at F1.8 and 8.0 (taken at 18 pm . there is still…

Pros
  • Controversial advantages against the background of shortcomings.
Cons
  • The first thing that caught my eye was tangible HA on open apertures from 1.8 to 2.8 Everyone writes smart autofocus, in my opinion it is not smart, so-so (sluggish), at the level of cheap Nikon lenses - Nikon 50mm f / 1.8G AF-S Nikkor

The best return on your money!

Used this lens on a recent neonatal session. I've never shot with a similar Art lens so can't really compare, but after all the focus nightmares with an Art lens I settled on this little gem instead. So glad I did! I shot wide open at f/1.8 for most of this session, cranking up to f/2 or f/2.8 occasionally. No focusing problems, even in low light. The vibration control really helps in low light conditions. It was paired with my Nikon D750. Can't wait to get outside and use this for some…

Tamron just raised the bar.

Wow. I have no words. Between incredible close-up focus and completely insane sharpness at almost any aperture, I'm blown away. I've always been a Tamron fan because of their great VC (don't know how I can shoot without them now) but this is a whole new level. Tamron has already offered great optical quality for the price, but this one is easy. I've been shooting non stop for the last 48 hours because everything looks so beautiful (shot on a full frame d750). The build quality and finish are…

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Almost never

Generally very happy with the lens

Generally very happy with the lens. Great quality, good weight (some people like light weight, I don't - it's quite heavy compared to other 35mm lenses) and comes with a chip patched to work with the tap-in console is compatible. The reason for the 1 star, and while not a big deal I think it's justified, is that this lens was used. The settings in the camera were non-standard, the protective film to show the range was missing (I have several Tamron SPs so I know it must be there), and the box…

  • Great price
Cons

Factory calibration was terrible

Factory calibration was terrible. I have never owned a lens that was so poorly calibrated. In the beginning, the best I could do was set the camera's micro focus to +15, but the focus setting was distance dependent, so anything further than about 4 feet away was still out of focus. I went ahead and ordered a Tap-in Dock. It wasn't easy to find as it was no longer made for Sony, so I had to send it to Ebay from Japan. When I finally calibrated it, the settings that worked well were the…
