Seal does not seal properly. couldn't get it close to transmission. I've tried countless times. An end continued to rise. I didn't want to turn off the transmission.

Poor design in the gearbox area. It's a piece of plastic that flexes and doesn't connect to the single screw on the side. I used it on a 700r4 although the cable adjustment worked smoothly.

The length adjuster broke after two weeks of vehicle standstill. Doesn't hold position and just slips. Also, the single oil scraper ring at the base is leaking and insufficient. Found a half price on Revain that works as advertised. I thought that by purchasing a TCI product I would get quality and reliability. I was very disappointed. Stay away from it.

I bought this cable in January and installed it a few weeks ago. When I first took it out of the box, I noticed that the braided cable was very stiff. The sheath was also very rigid and inflexible. After installation, the cable did not retract and my 2004r layer was unstable. I swapped a 2004r with PowerGlide for my 1962 Impala and was interested in customizing this cable. It did not work.
