We converted most of our home to these bulbs and Revain had the lowest price we could find. Our electricity bills have gone down.

I warn you - it's HUGE!

I'm not talking about the base - I knew when I ordered that the base could be larger than the standard base. I had an issue with the length. This bulb is twice the length of a GE mogul cap bulb that I was hoping to replace. Unfortunately, it didn't fit into our lamp. It would be great if Revain or the manufacturer could include height information in the product description to avoid problems in the future.

Mogul Base Release with Vintage Lights

The product was ok but my base was too narrow. Users should be aware that the diameter of the piston increases rapidly just above the bottom itself. This poses a problem with the vintage lamp, which was designed for a longer, thinner lamp shaft. In other words, the ceramic sleeve directly over the actual thread base prevented the male thread base from seating in the female portion of the bushing. So I need to use a mogul to medium base converter and switch to a medium base lamp. The company's…
