💿 High Capacity 50GB TDK 2X BD-RE DL Rewritable Printable Blu-ray Disc - 5-Pack with Jewel Case Review

It took me a while to use them as my trusty old Pioneer 205 didn't recognize the BD-RE DL. Now with 209. Magic. The 50GB rewritable media is fantastic and for the price these TDKs are very good indeed. I will buy more if needed.

Love Blue Ray Disk. Very helpful. The only downside is the 1-2x speed. Your best bet is to look for rewritable 6X. You will end up spending more but saving time. Windows 10 formatting is good for temporarily storing small files here and there on the fly. Drag-and-drop and delete work.

I was skeptical when I realized it was shipped from Hong Kong. But they are amazing. I've written, erased, rewritten, and rewritten, and he endures it all. Perfect for Blu-ray releases and you can rewrite it over and over again. Great product so far!

I think I've managed 10 burns from each disc so far - no signs of failure or damage yet. The PS3 media server is a drag on Win 8 machines so yes I burn things onto these discs for playback on PS3 when I don't feel like watching with a software player on a laptop and via HDMI on a TV . I've only used one of the discs in the pack, written and erased on it about 5 times and it has worked fine. The surface is white, suitable for inkjet printing. which doesn't make much sense considering they're rewritable discs.

Blu-ray Rewritable media is typically used by smaller TV stations and/or production companies as the final footage is transferred to one of these BD-REs to ensure everything is a perfect copy of it on a regular Blu-ray for sale. I got them to preview videos over 25 gigabytes and they do a great job. However, you must keep the surface of the disc clean otherwise you will get validation errors and hence playback errors. Otherwise, be prepared for long waits as recording 50 gigs at 2X (or less on some burners) can take close to an hour.
