Easy install in fans

The seat was easy to work with and installed on a 1948 Ford coupe with a 350 Chev. First set up a manual on/off to see what effect it can have on the temperature sensor on/off if it works as expected. A bit noisy but it revs 3000cfm +/-, I set it up as a blower, not much room behind the radiator.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • I say no

Inaccurate for replacement parts

There's no way this thing can produce 3000 CFM. Maybe half my truck is constantly overheating at best. I bought additional fans and the new thermostat is still not cooling enough. I've spent a lot of money and time trying to figure out why my truck is still overheating. This week I lost my air conditioning compressor due to overheating. All along, this fan was assumed to draw exactly 3,000 cubic feet per minute. Do not you believe!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

Easy to install and solve my problem!

I liked how easy it was to install on my 2000 Silverado. I had cooling issues while parked in a driveway for over 10 minutes because my truck was ramping up with the engine under the radiator so the fan was only cooling half of the radiator. So now I've lifted the fan shroud, installed the new electric fan on the heatsink and in the fan shroud. This cools my truck and I've also noticed that my air conditioning stays cold.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Instructions need clearer instructions.

The fan works well. There is a black wire that connects to the relay and temp sensor that goes into the intake manifold. On the same line is a ring terminal that can be connected to ground. IF you want the fan to turn on and off when the coolant temperature changes, DO NOT GROUND THE RING CONNECTOR. If you want the fan to stay on when you turn the ignition on instead of cycling it on and off, ground the ring connector.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Operating speed

After installing this product, I am very dissatisfied.

Arrived before expected arrival time and it is very nice. Would be a great upgrade for my old C20. After I finally finished building and installing this product, it completely failed after a few weeks or months. And I'm talking about a nine-day vehicle that has been repaired and driven many times. I get power from the ignition, relays to the fan terminals but the fan doesn't turn on at all like the motor is stalled or etc.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not sure

Connection instructions suck.

The fan seems worth the price. Needed something cheap for a cheap truck and it seemed to fit the bill. Spent a couple of hours cutting, splicing and wrapping wires into a semi-professional wire harness only to find the instructions were wrong. Or at least contradictory. The printed instructions and the graphic don't match, so now I have to go back and start over. I've seen a fan running so I know it's running and moving what appears to be a decent amount of air. Now I just need to hook it up…
