I bought it for personal use. Three weeks later, one of the lines at the top of the game wouldn't let me in, even if it was the correct answer. I couldn't open the battery compartment to change the batteries because the screw won't come out. Very bad quality.

I would give this handheld illuminated sudoku game 5 stars. But it was NOT delivered to my back porch according to the shipping instructions. Also, the two pins are white and not red as shown in the picture. The perimeter edges of the nine outer grids must be thicker and/or different in color. It's hard to see where the outer grids change.

Numbers are difficult to read. It is necessary to hold the device in a very specific way, which makes the game less enjoyable. Not as good as the previous one I bought for my husband. These are great devices because they use a battery and don't require a precious charge etc if you're trying to play a similar game on your phone. It was an adequate replacement for the previous one that broke. Still not that good.

Would give 0 stars if I could. The game screen is so small that it is almost impossible to use it. I don't know how the seller can get away with such a discrepancy in the size of this game. This is one of those games that you want to keep forever. Unfortunately they don't last that long. I used to replace them at my local pharmacy when needed, but local stores no longer stock them. This product did not convince me at all! First, it's very difficult to see the numbers. Although the screen and squares are incredibly small, if you look at the screen anywhere other than straight ahead, you'll only see eights everywhere! I use my portable sudoku generator quite often. It's great to do something while you're waiting at the doctor's office or just relaxing at home. Anyone considering getting one of these should definitely get one with a backlight, as the numbers are almost impossible to see without the lights on.
