I really liked this product at first. On my second use, as I ran the brush through my hair, the (heat-weakened) scalp barrier came off. The sudden lack of resistance to my hand's pressure on the brush pinched the exposed heating element against my ear, causing a severe burn. A blister formed immediately, which was very painful. I use this tool to curl the ends of my hair down to my shoulders. I can brush my hair to the ends and do a few twists to curl my hair. I love this application. I already have another brand of hot air comb but wanted a second one for travel 1 and I liked that it came with a protective clip. A total waste of money and I hate that I missed the deadline to return it as it doesn't heat up at all, not even 100 degrees. I would give zero stars here if I could.
