I used it for outdoor use with a cellular modem that is in a metal outdoor cabinet next to a road. They work pretty well. I installed an antenna on an AT&T Netcomm wireless modem/router. The signal level has not changed. I changed the direction of the antenna in different positions. Still no change.

I am disappointed that this product does not meet the advertised specifications for the 700-900MHz band. The attached diagram shows the return loss from DC to 3GHz (it actually confuses the reverse gain diagram but calls it return loss; see [1] for a discussion of "annoying minus signs"). I was really hoping these antennas would improve my 4G router's signal, T-Mobile works great in my area and I was looking for signal boosting before Binge On, but after connecting these antennas, the signal quality actually degraded by 0.10 dBm. .

I bought these antennas for my computer because due to the location in my new home I only got 1-2 WiFi strips with standard antennas. I upgraded to them and now have 5 WiFi bars and the Ookla speed test confirms my speeds are about 50% faster due to the increased range of these antennas. Very impressive
