Good quality product

I was very happy with this purchase, the pigtails on this connector were very long and in some cases I didn't have to add a wire to complete it. You can safely buy the braids from the supplier.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Works with Reese Towpower 8508211

Reese Towpower 8508211 played and purchased even though it's not listed as a compatible product. worked fine I don't know what the screws are for but I used 2 of them on the Reese controller because I liked them better than the ones that came with that controller.

I'm glad I didn't have to buy a new controller.

First bought a Tekonsha Primus IQ controller for my 2014 Tacoma. When I was a truck dealer, the suspension stayed with Toyota; I've ordered this replacement wiring harness twice for my 2008 Silverado 3500HD and it hooked up right away. It's very good that I didn't have to buy a new controller for another truck!

Easy to Install - If you take your time and read all the instructions.

Pretty basic kit - just read the instructions and read them again. I'm not a fan of crimp splices, especially when the brakes are on, so I twisted the wires, soldered them, put on a nut, and then glued them together. The worst thing is finding the right wires upside down. This was for a car with no quick couplers. Subaru Forester 2009

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Not bad
