💡 Digital Display DC Adjustable Switching Power Supply, Tekpower TP3005E - 30V 5A Review

Works great out of the box, very light weight for power delivery. Worked great from powering my 16ft LED strip to powering my styrofoam hot wire nichrome bead cutter and also as a solar pv panel simulator for debugging my battery charge controller. The only drawback I see is that the coarse voltage adjustment is too sensitive and the fine adjustment range is not wide enough, but overall a very good device.

All you need to know is that this product is Lethal. Built-in large capacity, which would be nice in itself. However, it is not isolated from the network input. This means that if you turn off this product and unplug it from the 110V AC outlet, you could receive a serious electric shock. Yes, I learned it the hard way. I recently bought this power supply and it arrived quickly. The power adapter is small and light, and the LCD display is a great feature. Seems pretty accurate too. The maximum voltage/current I could measure was 31.5V and 5.2A. I'd say that's not bad for the advertised 30V/5A. It's great for powering LEDs and charge capacitors and batteries.
