In general, it works, and quite conveniently, but due to the design features, in order to measure pressure normally, the must stick out enough, otherwise it will not be possible to simply crawl with the device
Pros
Comfortable
Cons
If the is deeply recessed, then it cannot be measured, besides it is a little expensive
Not recommended. Almost not used. In the cold it just blinks and doesn't work. Now I suspect it was blinking so hard it was draining the battery. There are expensive lithium cells in there (4 of them in two different sizes?!) so buying new is probably cheaper than buying batteries. -1 star for not working in the cold, -1 star for the flashing that drained the battery, and -2 stars for not having a rechargeable or even removable battery.
Excellent pressure gauge! I am very happy with how it has worked so far. Reads exactly like 3 other sensors, both digital and old mechanical. The brightly backlit dial is very useful in the dark. I wish it was easier to lock it in PSI as it's easy to accidentally switch it to other units. You can read after reading without waiting 30 seconds or turning it off. Lightweight and also suitable for large hands. As for turning it off. You can wait 30 seconds for the auto power off - OR - press and…
On a recent car trip I ran into a nail and immediately plugged it in but for some strange reason my TPMS system wouldn't light up and then I felt stupid for not having a tire pressure gauge because there wasn't one Gas gave nearby stations with an air compressor to see how much air I had already lost. So I encourage everyone to get it because you never know when you might need it. About the product; Readings are accurate with an auto shut off feature after 30 seconds, build quality is good and…
TEKTON 5941 Digital Tire Gauge is lightweight and easy to use. It fits snugly on the bar shaft and provides a secure connection. This seems to be accurate. I use it with my 2018 Chevy Equinox which has tire pressure gauges for each wheel and the gauge reading matches those readings. It would be better if there was a separate button to change the display type (psi, kg/cm, bar, etc.). To turn on the sensor, you need to quickly press the button. It will momentarily alternate between different…
Okay I'm 67 years old and writing this and it's interesting to look at things. But any analog or digital device needs to be read for me, so display size isn't an issue. I like that I don't have to figure out which top ten I'm in - 40 or 50? It secures the valve stem very well - don't know why anyone would need a light, maybe they're reading a map at the same time, multitasking. Well, is that correct? Without having a standard of weights and measures at hand, it's hard to say. My supercharger is
The other day I pulled out my Tekton gauge to check my car's tires, only to find that the batteries in the gauge were dead. I *suspect* (but I can't be absolutely sure) that the root cause of my problem is that something there was pulling the sensor's "trigger" when the sensor was stored in my glove box, causing the device to turn on. while being kept in my glove box which eventually drained the batteries. I swapped out the batteries in the sensor (annoyingly the unit uses 4 batteries of two…
