Description of TEKTON Drive External Socket SHD12411

6-lobe geometry designed for a high-torque fit with E-Star fasteners. Large, clear die-stamped size marking is easy to read and can’t wear off. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the drive tool and a drilled through-hole allows locking on with retaining pin. Beveled inner rim of the socket opening helps guide it smoothly onto fasteners.

Great Socket Driver for Automotive Enthusiasts!

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, i can confidently say that this socket driver is an essential tool for any automotive enthusiast. Its external grip design allows for better control and stability ensuring a secure and precise fit on any bolt. The quality of the construction is durable and able to handle heavy usage without damage... The only con I can think of is that it is slightly larger than some other socket drivers, making it a bit bulkier to store in a tool box..

Pros
  • Durable and made to withstand heavy use.
Cons
  • Only available in one size, limiting versatility for different projects.

Disappointing Socket Wrench - Waste of Money

This product was a letdown for the automotive repairs I needed to get done. The wrench kept slipping off the nut, and the handle was too small to get a good grip .When I tried this product, I felt like I wasted my money..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Handle too small, doesn't grip well.

Need electronic emergency brakes for Honda

My Honda has electronic emergency brakes or EPB. And unless you put the car into service mode with Autel or a code reader. Another way to do this is the manual way. And on the Civic Type R, an external E11 Torx head was used to manually back off the EPB.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Repair
