Description of TEKTON Drive Spark Socket SHD15021

6-point opening exactly fits the hex nut of a spark plug, so that you can apply maximum torque. Thin walls and extended length allow you to reach deep into spark plug wells. An interior rubber grommet firmly grips the neck of plugs for careful removal and installation. Advanced design grips flat sides of hex nut, not corners, to prevent round-off. Extra-large die-stamped size markings are easy to read and can’t wear off. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the drive tool.

A Must-Have for Car Enthusiasts

Based on my observations, this ignition part is a game-changer. The design is impressive as it provides a tight and secure fit, which makes it easier to remove stripped spark plugs. The material is of high quality, making it withstand years of use. The only con is that it's a bit pricier than other similar products. Overall, this is a reliable and worth the investment.

I would go for the upper with a magnet over rubber.

Worked for 15/16 spark plugs in my hemisphere. As a result, the rubber on the 15th spark plug was lost and it was difficult to remove it.

Worked great, tight fit

It worked as well as I expected. A tight fit on all spark plugs and a tight connection to my extension and driveshaft connector. I made my 2013 F150 EcoBoost 6 base and my wife's 2008 LR3 8 base and it gave me no problems. I would recommend this if you can wait and don't need the overpriced AutoZone tonight.
