Good bits fit twist drill

I need something for drilling holes in shells and glass. The drills worked very well on the sinks. Glass took longer to drill depending on the thickness.

Pros
  • They fit your hand drill, drill press and are compatible with Dremel and Foredom tools with 1/8" collet. Shaft diameter: 1/8" (3.17mm)
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked great on my glass!

I used a drill to drill a hole in a piece of sea glass I picked up on the beach in Puerto Rico. I set the jar on a soaked kitchen sponge to keep the bits moist and to let the bits do their job. No additional pressure. It penetrates the glass in just a few minutes.

Pros
  • New pack of 30 Diamond Coated Pointed End Mills.
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Cuts glass well with twist drill bits

Purchased to cut sea glass for projects. It does this very well. Takes between 7 and 25 seconds depending on the thickness of the glass. I use a Dremel 3000. The bits fit a standard chuck size. The beat also popped through several thin shells in about two seconds. So far I've made two shells and 12 pieces of glass on the first hit. If I had to guess I'd say that approximately 40% of the resource remains in the drill.

Pros
  • Overall length 40mm (1-5/8")
Cons
  • No automatic
