So I'll let my 13 year old kitten be a 5 star reviewer. I ordered this for him and my other 4 cats but mainly to lighten his old bones. We've had the panel for about 8 hours and this is my current opinion. Gabriel likes it.

Worked great for me. The only downside is that the controller is permanently attached to the cable, so I had to cut enough hole in the back of the house to let it through. Actually it's not that important. My street cat is happy there like a clam now!

My two puppies love it so much I have ordered another one. One for the bedroom and one for the living room. But my little one doesn't like to share. Chewable, washable, well made. Great settings. If I could afford two more so everyone could have one for both rooms I would.

They crossed our busy road to stay somewhere else. Now I don't think they want to leave their house to catch bugs anymore lol. Setting 103 hardly seems warm to me, but they are happy! I need to set a timer to turn them off so they actually get up and do their job :)

I like the comfortable controls on the heating pad. I bought an unheated outdoor house for our wild community until it got cold and then added a heat mat. A little less budget. One cat, Ringo, is loving his new home now and I feel better knowing he has a safe, warm place to sleep. As it got colder here with the first winter snow and ice storm of 2020, I turned on the heating while everything is working as expected. My heating pad has been working for weeks without a single complaint from Ringo.

I ordered medium size. Before putting this outside in a sheltered cat house, I tried it out in the kitchen. I have read the instructions carefully. First, I checked the temperature controls. I placed a digital thermometer underneath and then back on top. The highest temperature it reached under the mat was 97 (this was on setting #6 HIGH / 135 degrees).
