Defective on arrival, suitable for household use

Obviously all batteries of this size are bad. Every manufacturer has bad reviews for this product. Most say the batteries are dead or the voltage is low. That's exactly what I got with this order. They are probably all from the same manufacturer and have different brand names.

All cells in both packs were essentially weak or dead.

Didn't like anything, all cells are essentially dead and useless. My first clue was that after plugging in my IR thermos, the device immediately beeped "change batteries". Further testing with a quality DVM showed that the elements in both twenty packs ranged from 0.907 VDC to 1.011 VDC. I bought two (expensive) lr44 cells from Walgreens, they measured 1.5VDC C++ and work great with my IR Thermo.

A real bargain if you use a lot of LR44 button cells (AG13)

Since I use a lot of LR44 button cells, I bought this Tenergy cell set and 2 other brands to do a comparison test. I acknowledge that my test is not 100% conclusive as I only tested one cell of each brand in what is known as the "High Discharge" test. Testing multiple samples at different current draw levels may produce different results. Most manufacturers consider a 1.5V battery to be "flat" when the voltage drops to 0.9V. I used a 150 ohm resistor as the load and set the tester to discharge…
