I bought this to have more free cooking/berth space in the rear of the SUBOVERLAND - it would be better if the openings were suitable for taller people - and the space is significantly larger and overall higher, um to support the full size off-road vehicle. I'm missing a switch for the rear main door, which is a big bummer. I would go for black but don't want to use gear even if it doesn't match my color scheme. Hope they can replace me! I'm curious how it works over the weekend.

Pros
  • External accessories
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good design concepts except for deployment and staking

1. Actual ground size is not 9x9 but more like 5x9. They should grip the rear of your SUV.2. When first pitching, one of the segments of the tent's main pole broke. I paid about $175 with discounts and a coupon. Fair price for the minimum quality of materials. At the current price of $350, I would consider the Laaioo Cube Tent to be a more comfortable design at the same price3. The continuous very long sleeve for the main post supports makes this quite difficult to assemble but even more…

Pros
  • Tent beds
Cons
  • Periodicity

Great concept. Terrible quality

I love the concept and put a lot of effort into making this tent that way. I knew from the start that this would be a problem. The proportions are a bit off, which is tolerable. The biggest problem is that it arrived damaged, with small holes, like cigarette burns, in the tent roof area. There was also no eye for horizontal support. The ear just wasn't sewn on. So if you take out the box, then this already applies. Then it was time to set it up. Soloing as a 6ft 2 in person isn't impossible…

Pros
  • Cargo platform and tailgate accessories
Cons
  • New competition has arrived
